Biography
Dr Ashwin K.R. is Head of Department and Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncology at Aster Whitefield, Bengaluru. His practice focuses on advanced and complex cancer surgery, with particular expertise in robotic cancer surgery, cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC, and PIPAC for selected peritoneal cancers.
Over 16+ years, his surgical practice has spanned breast, upper gastro intestinal, colorectal, hepatobiliary-pancreatic, gynecological, thoracic, head & neck cancers, and sarcoma & skin malignancies — combining oncological safety with a preservation-focused approach wherever clinically feasible.
